What is unique about your church?

1)  Exegetical Preaching

The Lord made it clear that all Scripture is profitable and is important to study and learn from.  Therefore, our church strongly believes that the Bible must be taught and preached verse by verse, not skipping difficult or unpopular passages.  (2 Timothy 3:16)

2)  Biblical Fellowship

A Scriptural church should resemble a loving family.  We are a church that cares when any member is sick, having surgery, loses a loved one, or is in spiritual crisis.  Some write cards, some make phone calls, some make hospital visits, and others prepare meals.  We also care about every member’s spiritual growth and well being.  We look out for one another and try to comfort one another with God’s promises and encouraging words.  We also try to encourage one another to seek God for purpose and direction.  (Hebrews 10:23-25)

3)  Evangelism and Discipleship

The Great Commission is clear that we need to be active in giving people the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our church attempts to accomplish this in a variety of ways, including flyers/tracts, special events, and door to door witnessing.  However, we also desire to see people discipled through private/group Bible study as well as mentorship.  (Matthew 28:19-20)
